About Me

Kelly Brändli, BsN, MBA

Without realising it, I have spent my entire adult life surrounded by ADHD. It has has some amazingly positive and great impact on my life, as well as created many challenges along the way. While I don’t have ADHD myself, I have always been attracted to the spontaneous, creative and lively nature of men with ADHD. This has resulted in lots of excitement as well as many relationship challenges and a few failed relationships along the way. It wasn’t until my son, stepson and partner were all diagnosed with ADHD, and I committed myself to becoming an expert in the topic, that I saw all the missed opportunities for change.

Although I have been running a Relationship coaching practice since 2019, I founded Sinaps in January 2024, to dedicate my work specifically to helping adults and couples cope with the challenges of ADHD and learn to thrive in love, compassion and understanding.

Originally from the beautiful city of Vancouver, Canada, I have been living in Zürich since 2001. Today I call the gorgeous Zürioberland my home where I live with my partner René and our two boys.

My Story… continued from Home page

My son was diagnosed with ADHD and shortly after his son as well.  While researching ADHD, I came across the genetic link and learned that

When a child has ADHD there is a very high likelihood (75-80%) that one of the parents has it as well.

Learning this I suddenly realised that had to be the key to our problems and we both agreed to get tested.

With a diagnosis in hand but unable to find the support we needed, I began to study and learn everything I could about Adult ADHD and ADHD impacted relationships, going straight to the world's leading experts. I realised that to save our relationship we would need to do things differently, and the standard solutions to fix struggling relationships were unlikely to help us. It was no wonder that the approach we had been taking was making things worse. Without being able to pinpoint the impact that ADHD was having, we were focusing on all the wrong issues.

Today, our relationship is stronger than ever and I now help other couples impacted by ADHD transform their lives.

Once you understand the impact that an ADHD diagnosis can have on you as a couple, you can start to work on the real cause of your problems. I believe that so many relationships could be saved if people were more aware that Adult ADHD is real and when left untreated can have a devastating impact on a relationship and marriage. The good news is though, that when you take the step to get diagnosed and find the right treatment and support you can not only save your relationship but rebuild it stronger than ever before.

If we can do it so can you!
